Last Wednesday the Year 5/6 Netball Team, Manilla Puggles, played in the Netball NSW School Cup Carnival in Tamworth. There were 2 pools of year 5/6 teams. Our Manilla team played 6 games and were undefeated, making them the winners in their pool. They now progress to the Regional Finals to be held in Tamworth in July.
A big thankyou to Mel for umpiring for the day and to Kathy Cederblad for scoring. Thanks also for the parent support on the sidelines.

Last week MCS Secondary sent three teams to contest the local Schools Cup Netball competition in Tamworth. All three teams had an excellent day, playing some great netball and demonstrating sportsmanship across the day.
A huge thank you to our umpires - Shona Hughes, Phoebe Riley and Jasmine Collier for their assistance on the day.
Congratulations to the 7/8 boys and 7/8 girls sides who progress to the regional finals in July.
