Stage 3 Excursion - Canberra

The 2024 Stage 3 excursion to Canberra will take place in Term 4, Week 2 from Monday, 21st October to Friday, 25th October.  This excursion will support and supplement their learning in History, Geography & Science.  This will be a wonderful experience for your child and is always a fun filled and memorable excursion.

The cost per student will be $500.00. The actual cost is $880.00 per student but with fundraising, school funding supplementing the coach and travel costs and other support we are able to reduce it significantly for all students.  This cost includes all entry fees, meals, accommodation, bus costs and other incidental costs that may occur. The cost is dependent upon a minimum number of 25 students attending.  Staff attending will be announced at a later date.

 

A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 will be required to ensure your child will attend the excursion.  Please sign the note attached and make the payment of $100.00 to the office by Term 3 Week 2, Friday 2^nd August, 2024. After this date if your child is unable to attend your deposit will not be refunded as there will still be costs that will need to be covered. We also encourage small regular payments to make it easier to afford.  The remainder of the cost per student will be due by Term 3, Week 10 Monday, 23^rd September.

 

Student behaviour is paramount on an excursion and your child is expected to continue to always adhere to our school behaviour policy leading up to the excursion at school.  If they do not comply with this unfortunately, they will not be able to attend the excursion and your deposit will not be refunded.  If you have any concerns, please contact me at school to discuss this further.
