Women in Sport

Dear parent/carer

Your child has been invited to attend an excursion for Women In Sport at Tamworth Sports Dome on Monday 25th March 2024.

This excursion has been planned for Wellbeing/PDHPE curriculum learning area.

The excursion will cost $0

Students will depart from Manilla Central School at 9:30am

Students will return to Manilla Central School at 1:00pm

Travel will be by bus

The students will be supervised by staff members Mrs Cowell, Miss Shultz (SSO), Heidi Hawley, Megan Turner and Jacqui Martin.

Students are to wear sports uniform and will need the following items on this excursion:

• sunhat and sunscreen

• water bottle

Additional Information

Centacare NENW’s Women In Sport program invites female students from across the region to participate in a community event with Australian Soccer and Matilda star, Alex Chidiac. Alex will talk about her journey to becoming a Matilda.

The event will be followed by a free sausage sizzle.

Students may bring mobile phones on the excursion and are required to comply with our Yondr Mobile Phone Policy. Manilla Central School takes no responsibility for any loss or damage.
