Farming Futures School Program

Your child is invited to attend the Farming Futures School Program at UNE, Armidale on Tuesday 25th June 2024.

This excursion has been planned for Stage 6 Agriculture curriculum learning area.

The excursion will cost $10.

Students will depart from Manilla Central School at 7:45am.

Students will return to Manilla Central School by 5:00pm.

Travel will be by private car with Mr Connors.

The students will be supervised by staff member Mr Connors.

Students will need the following items on this excursion:

Parading shirt, nice jeans and boots

•

Sunhat and sunscreen

•

Water bottle, morning tea and lunch

Additional Information

Farming Futures runs a free school program ever year. This is aimed at Year 10-12 students who are thinking about pursuing a career in Agriculture. The program will cover sessions in Animal Science, Agronomy, Agtech and Agribusiness.

Students may bring mobile phones on the excursion and are required to comply with our Yondr Mobile Phone Policy. Manilla Central School takes no responsibility for any loss or damage.
