Northern Schools Steer Comp

Your child has been invited to attend the Northern Schools Steer Comp at Tenterfield Showground from Monday 4^th November to Wednesday 6^th November 2024.

 

This excursion has been planned for Agriculture curriculum learning area.

The excursion will cost $55.

 

The students will depart from Manilla Central School at 9:00am on Monday 4/11/2024.

The students will return to Manilla Central School at 6:00pm on Wednesday 6/11/2024.

 

Travel will be by bus and private vehicles with Mr Connors and teacher/parent.

The students will be supervised by staff members Mr Justin Connors, Ms Jodie Provost from Walcha Central School and Ms Deb Snaith from McIntyre High School, Inverell.

 

Students will need the following items on this excursion:

• Full parading uniform; show shirt, neat and tidy jeans, boots and hat
• Swag and/or other bedding; pillow, blanket, sleeping bag, roll-up mattress, etc
• Casual clothes and pyjama’s (please ensure you bring warm clothing)
• Toiletries, bath towel and thongs for shower
• Money for lunch

 

Additional Information

Breakfast and dinner are provided, and a canteen will be available for lunches. Manilla Central School takes no responsibility for any loss or theft of money.

Students may bring mobile phones on the excursion and are required to comply with our Yondr Mobile Phone Policy. Manilla Central School takes no responsibility for any loss, damage or theft.

This excursion is not compulsory. Final students attending will be at the discretion of Mr Connors and will be determined by participation effort in class.

Accommodation will be at Tenterfield Showground.

The group will be supervised by Mr Justin Connors, Ms Jodie Provost from Walcha Central School and Ms Deb Snaith from McIntyre High School, Inverell.
